Hall GALIEN

Temporary exhibition room on surgery and the history of prostheses.

It is dedicated to the temporary exhibition “the reconstructed body” which traces the history of prostheses (hip and knee) but also pacemakers. A collection of wheelchairs will teach you their evolution since the 18th century. In addition, in many windows, you will discover different surgical instruments in different areas (ENT, orthopedics, pneumology …). Not to mention some original pieces of pneumology and cardiology to discover without restraint!

PASTEUR and the great discoveries of the nineteenth century.

Scenography with Louis PASTEUR, and an exhibition of materials he used for his “gooseneck” experiment. Some great researchers are linked to him.
